Day 1

Arrive in Israel

Arrival at new Ben-Gurion Airport Terminal.

Upon arriving in Jerusalem, experience a thrilling panoramic view of the Holy City from the Haas Promenade to recite the “Shehechiyanu” prayer.

Welcome Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2

Jerusalem - Old & New City

Panoramic view of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives, overlooking the Old City and the Jewish Quarter.

Walk through the newly restored Jewish Quarter. Roman Cardo, the Herodian Quarter and continue to the Western Wall.

Visit to the Western Wall Tunnels followed by the Southern Wall excavations.

Visit the new excavations at the City of David, which have redefined the origins of Jerusalem.

Continue for a visit to Latrun, IDF Armored Corps center to review the tanks and to learn how Israel works to remain on the military cutting edge.

Late arrival to the interesting miniature park of Mini Israel.

Dinner on your own.

Jerusalem

In the morning we will drive for a visit to the newly-expanded Yad Vashem Holocaust complex – the Jewish National Memorial to the six million - including the Historical Museum, the Art Museum, the Valley of the Communities, and the Children’s Memorial, including a Yizkor memorial service.

Leave Jerusalem for a great experience at the Archeological Dig at Beit Guvrin.

Drive to the "Machne Yehuda" market to enjoy the special ambiance before Shabbat.

Kabbalat Shabbat at Kol HaNeshama and the Kotel.

Shabbat Dinner at the hotel.

Drive through the picturesque Jordan Valley down to Dead Sea Basin, the lowest point on earth.

Visit Qumran, walk through the impressive Dead Sea sect community area and see the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1948.

Drive to the hotel at the Dead Sea.

Tour of Massada’s 2,000 year old mountain fortress built by King Herod – and site of the Jewish zealots’ last stand against the Roman Legionnaires.

Enjoy beautiful Ein Gedi waterfall & bathe in Nachal David Spring – a lush oasis in the Judean Desert overlooking the Dead Sea.

Continue south, visiting Kibbutz Sde Boker, to see Ben Gurion's hut and grave, overlooking the magnificent Zin valley.

Stop at Mitzpeh Ramon to gaze into the Ramon Crater, an otherworldly geological wonder.

Proceed to Eilat for overnight.

A short drive brings us to the neighboring city of Rehovot.

We will make an exciting and surprising visit to the “Ayalon Institute," a secret underground ammunition factory. Learn about the bravery and ingenuity of pre-state freedom Hebrew fighters.

Discover the romantic streets and passages of the old city of Jaffa and the artist colony.

Walk around the unique Neve Tzedek and Neve Shalom neighborhoods, the first neighborhoods of Tel-Aviv built in 1909 and now are going through a massive change, many houses are being restored, great art galleries and fashion shops are around.

We conclude our day, as we stroll down - Sheinken Street, the “in” street of Tel Aviv, where we will have time to see the many arts and crafts, fashion and funky shops.

Not far from here is the Carmel open market and the nearby Nachalat Binyaminpedestrian mall, with its restored buildings, sidewalk artists and arts and crafts fair.

Visit to the wonders of the ancient city of Petra the Rose Red City carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock.

A visit to Petra is one of the true highlights of any tour to the Middle East. For hundreds of years, Petra was forgotten until it was rediscovered in 1812. The entire city is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, which is entered on foot or by horse-drawn carriages.
