Flight from USA to Tel Aviv.

Day 2

Arrival

Arrival to Ben-Gurion airport, meet the bus and Guide.

Drive to Mount Scopus for a great panoramic view.

We will have a shehecheyanu service upon entering the holy city of Jerusalem,

Proceed to the hotel in Jerusalem, dinner at the hotel.

Mount of Olives		Kidron Valley
Davidson Center

Day 3

Jerusalem

A full day of sightseeing in Jerusalem.

Drive to Mount of Olives, Mount Scopus, the Kidron Valley.

Continue to the Old City within the walls,

We walk in the Jewish Quarter to explore the architectural and archaeological sites. This will include the Jewish Quarter in detail, the Cardo, Davidson Museum and the Western Wall excavations,

The Southern Wall, Western Wall, Hasmonean Tunnel, Via Dolorosa and Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

We will drive to Kfar Hanokdim for an authentic Bedouin hospitality followed by a camel ride and a special dinner, after dinner we will sit together by the bonfire tell stories and sing.

Overnight: Kfar Hanokdim.

Day 4

Massada | Dead See

An early wake up, before the sun goes up, to walk up the mountain through the dike to see the sunrise on the top of Massada.

We will take the cable car to desened from the mountain and have breakfast at the foot of the mountain, continue to the David Spring for a hike.

Free afternoon to relax and enjoy the spa and the Dead Sea.

Day 5

Dead Sea

Start our day with a great jeep tour in the wilderness of the desert to learn about the amazing desert life. we will go back to the hotel to rest.

After dinner we will have a special night hike in the desert, during the hike we will stop to hear stories about the desert night people.

Day 6

Mitzpe Ramon | Eilat

We will drive South and stop at the Ramon Crater for a hike, continue to Eilat, upon arrival a sightseeing tour of Eilat passing by the borders of Egypt and Jordan.

Overnight: Eilat.

Petra

Day 7

Petra

Petra day - transfer to the Arava border, cross Israel-Jordan border.

Continue via the King’s road, pass Moses spring and arrive Petra.

Visit the capital of the great Nabatean kingdom carved in the red rock 2200 years ago.

Horse back riding on horses through the “Sik” to Petra, visit the temple, the graves, the theater and Roman cardo.

After lunch we will drive back to the Arava border, transfer back to the hotel.

Tel Aviv

Old Jaffa

Day 9

Tel Aviv | Jaffa

After breakfast we drive up North for a stop at Mamshit, the Nabatean city of Memphis.

We proceed to Tel Aviv to visit the special neighborhoods and the Rabin Square, proceed to Jaffa to walk around the old city and the artist colony.

Overnight: Tel Aviv.

Caesarea

Haifa

Day 10

Caesarea | Daliat-El-Carmel | Sea of Galilee

We will drive to Caesarea - the remnants of the city and ancient port built by Herod.

Continue to Daliat-El-Carmel, the Druz village on top of Mount Carmel to learn about the Druz life and have free time to walk around the market street.

We proceed to Haifa, stop for panoramic view of Haifa Bay, and continue to the magnificent walking tour through the Bahai Gardens.

Overnight: Kibbutz hotel on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 11

Galilee | Capernaum | Yardenit | Sea of Galilee

We will start our day with a great boat ride, on the Galilee affording wonderful views of surrounding countryside.

Continue to Capernaum and Mount of the Beatitudes.

Visit Beit Yigal Alon at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar (Ancient Boat).

Stop at the Yardenit (Baptismal site).

Special dinner at a restaurant by the Sea of Galilee.

Gamla

Haifa

Day 12

Golan Heights | Druze Villages | Sea of Galilee

Drive to the Golan Heights.

We will start with an amazing panoramic view from Mount Bental.

Visit the former Syrian fortifications, Birkat Ram, and the Druze villages,

Stop at the fortress of Gamla,

We end our day with a great experience at the Manara Cliff, when wel go up with a cable car for a great activity for you to choose from: rappeling or zipe lining.

Special evening of home hospitality in the homes of Kibbutz members.

Rosh Hanikra

Day 13

Western Galilee | Lower Galilee | Acre | Rosh Hanikra | Safed

Today we will visit the Western Galilee and the Lower Galilee.

We start with Akko, including the white authentic market,

We will also see the Templars’ Tunnel, the Hospitaller Fortress & the Enchanted Garden.

After Akko we continue to Rosh Hanikra, then descend by cable car to visit the grottos and the Lebanese border.

We will proceed to Safed – birthplace of Kabala – Jewish mystic teachings, the Old City, the Ancient synagogues and the artist colony.

Overnight: Kibbutz hotel on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 14

Jerusalem

Drive to Jerusalem, we will first visit to the renewed Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Proceed to an archaeological dig, a rare opportunity which allows you to touch your roots, Dig for a day is a unique program designed for visitor for all ages.

Overnight: Jerusalem.

Shrine of the Book

Day 15

Jerusalem

Visit the new city outside the walls, including the Model of the city during the Second Temple period, continue to the Israel Museum and the Shrine of the Book.

Pass by the Knesset (Israel’s Parliament House) and its the giant Menorah.

We will end our day with a visit to the Garden Tomb.

Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 16

Jerusalem | Enroute

We will check out from the hotel late in the morning,

Drive to Ein Karem for a visit, continue to Abu Gush and in the early evening we will drive to Neot Kedumim, the biblical nature center near Modiin for a tour and a special dinner.

After dinner transfer to the airport for the flight back to the US.

Travel south to the Negev desert, visit Israel’s Air force Museum at Hatzerim to view the planes and equipment and to hear the story of this brave fighting force.

Visit Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave overlooking the magnificent Zin Valley.

Stop at Mitzpe Ramon to gaze into the Ramon Crater, a geological wonder.

Drive to Timna to see the copper mines and King Solomon’s pillars and marvel at the huge multi-colored rock formations.

Arrive to Eilat for overnight.

Visit the underwater observatory, one of the largest sea aquariums in the world,
built into a coral reef.

Drive to Mamshit for a camel ride experience and a visit the Bedouin tent.

Learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch.

Drive back to Tel Aviv for overnight.

Transfer from your hotel to the Arava border point with Jordan, cross into Jordan and drive to the rose city of Petra.

Visit to the wonders of the ancient city of Petra the Rose Red City carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock.

A visit to Petra is one of the true highlights of any tour to the Middle East. For hundreds of years, Petra was forgotten until it was rediscovered in 1812. The entire city is carved into the sides of a deep gorge, which is entered on foot or by horse-drawn carriages.

In the late afternoon return to your hotel in Eilat.
